Staff Achievements (Arts)

Dr. Aisha Qudsi Qidwai was the judge at the Inter- University/ College Essay Writing competition held on the occasion of Education/ Azad Day celebrations held at the Lucknow Campus of Maulana Azad National Urdu University on 6th Nov.,2019.

Mrs. Alka Chaturvedi (Asstt.Prof.Hindi) and Arshia Rasool (Asstt. Prof. Hindi) presented papers in a National Seminar on Kedarnath Singh: Smriti, Sangharsh and Saundarya, organized by Hindi Dept., Kashi Hindu University,Varanasi and Hindustani Academy, Prayagraj on 1-2 September, 2019. 

Mrs. Alka Chaturvedi and Dr. Veena Pandey (Asstt.Prof. Hindi) participatedin a one-day seminar on Sant Sahitya ke Vividh Aayaam, one- day seminar on Premchand avam Maithilisharan Gupt, Ramdhari Singh Dinkar Smriti Samaroh, and a three day seminar on Yug Pravartak Mahayogi Gorakhnath on 25.6.19, 31.7.19, 23.7.19 and 26,27,28.9.19respectively, organized by U.P. Hindi Sansthan , Lucknow.

Dr. Bibi Ishrat Jahan (HOD Economics) presented her paper and Mrs. Nidhi Tiwari (Asstt.Prof. Sociology) participated in the National Seminar on Need For Forward Looking Development Strategies for India on 5-6 Nov., 2019, organized by Dept. of Economics, B.S.N.V.P.G. College (K.K.V), Lucknow.

Dr. Gulnaz Khan (Asstt. Prof. Education), Dr. Hina Nishat (Asstt. Prof. Sociology) andDr. Sudha Mishra (Asstt. Prof. Education) participated in a UGC sponsored Orientation Programme at UGC HRDC, University of Lucknow, Lucknow from Aug.8 to Aug 31, 2019.

Dr. Gulnaz Khan was appointed as the subject expert in the inspection held at Muslim Degree College, Kakrala, Badayun for temporary affiliation by Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, at the Postgraduate level in Oct., 2019.

Dr. Hina Nishat was extended the Teacher Innovation Award and a Certificate of Appreciation by Sri Aurobindo Society for sustainable efforts towards promoting joyful and experiential teaching in Sept., 2019

Dr. Jahan Ara (HOD Education) presented a paper in a National Seminar on Vision New India: Strategies and Prospects organized by Faculty of Commerce held on 16-17 Oct., 2019 at Sri Jai Narain Mishra P.G. College, Lucknow.

Dr. Naila Ahmad Suhail (Asstt. Prof. English) co-supervised a research work submitted in partial fulfilment for the award of the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in English from Integral University, Lucknow.

Mrs. Nidhi Tiwari (Asstt.Prof. Sociology) participated in a UGC sponsored Orientation Programme held at UGC HRDC, University of Lucknow, Lucknow from June 17 to July 6, 2019.

Ms. Poonam Singh (Asstt.Prof. Hindi) and Ms. Priya Singh (Asstt.Prof. Hindi) participated in a UGC sponsored Refresher Course held at UGC HRDC, University of Lucknow, Lucknow from Sept. 16 to Sept. 28, 2019. They also presented papers at an International Conference on Vishva Bhasha ke Roop me Hindi organized by Hindi Avam Anya Bhartiya Bhasha Vibhag at Dr.Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow on Sept. 14, 2019.

Ms. Priya Singh was extended a Certificate of Appreciation for acting as judge in Divyankur on 21-22 Oct., 2019, held at Shri Jai Narain Misra P.G. College, Lucknow.

Mrs. Saher Hussain (Asstt. Prof. Sociology) and Dr. Shaheen F. Khan (Asstt.Prof. Education) participated in a Workshop on Training of Teachers (TOT) for DEEKSHARAMBH, Student Induction Programme (SIP) held at the University of Lucknow, Lucknow from 22 to 24 October, 2019.

Dr.Alka Mehrotra (Lecturer, Chemistry) was an external examiner at Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan Kavya Mahavidyalaya, Lucknowan internal examiner at Career Convent Girls’ Degree College, Lucknow in the B.Sc. Sem III Chemistry practical examination on 7.11.19 and 8.11.19.

Dr. Binduja Sarawat (Lecturer,Zoology) was the Examiner at Basudev Degree College, Amrai Gaon, Lucknow in the B.Sc. Sem III Zoology practical examination on 6.4.19. 

Dr.Nahid Fatima (Lecturer, Zoology) was the Examiner at Shia P.G. College, Lucknow in B.Sc. Sem II Zoology practical examination on 7.4.19. She was also the Examiner at Rajat Girls’Degree College, Lucknow and B.S.N.V.P.G. College in B.Sc. Sem III Zoology practical examination held on 6.11.19 and 14.11.19.

Dr. Rashmi Khare (lecturer, Chemistry) was the External Examiner at Eram Girls’ Degree College, Lucknow on 5.11.19 and at National P.G. College, Lucknow on 13,14,16.11.19 in the B.Sc. Sem III Chemistry practical examination .

Dr. Rashmi Khare, Dr. Saba Shahabuddin, Dr. Parveen Khan, Dr. Neetu, Dr.Alka Mehrotra, Dr. Deepti Singh, Dr.Nahid Fatimaand Dr.Rukshi Aslam were appointed as observers for JEE-B.Ed at Lucknow University on 5.4.19.

Ms. Sariya Bano (Lecturer, Maths) published a paper entitled, ‘Hermite Pal- Type Interpolation with Boundary Conditions on the Unit Circle’ in Journalof Applied Science and Computations, 2019 Volue VI, Issue IV,pp. 3491-3499.

Ms. Kahkashan Tarannum presented a paper at a National Conference on Leadership and Entrepreneur Development, organized by Dept. of Commerce and Business Management held at Integral Univ. on 15-16.11.19. Ms. K. Tarannum has a paper publication in the Printing Area Peer Reviewed International Refreed International Journal, Issue 56, Volume 1, August, 2019, and another paper in the Vidyawarta Peer Reviewed International Refreed Research Journal, Issue 31, Volume 9,July to Sept.,2019.
